Everyday Eating is a nutrition consulting service founded by Accredited Practising Dietitian Dr. Alecia Leonard in 2014. We promote long-term good health and well-being through simple, sustainable and enjoyable eating.
At Everyday Eating you will have your own Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) to provide you with tailored nutrition advice based on scientific information and ongoing support.
We aim to positively contribute to the promotion of health and the prevention and treatment of illness by optimising nutritional intake. We recognise that there is an abundance of nutrition information available in the media and believe it is our responsibility, as nutrition scientists to rectify any uncertainty.
Our mission is to empower individuals to use nutrition to make meaningful lifestyle changes.
Dr. Alecia Leonard PhD, APD, AN
Alecia is passionate about promoting and encouraging better health through mindful and intuitive eating. She fosters positive relationships with food and eating among her clients.
Alecia is also a wife and mum who loves spending time with her family. She enjoys sharing good food with family and friends and values the way food brings people together.
In addition to working in private practice dietetics, Alecia is involved in nutrition research at the University of Newcastle and completed her PhD in 2013 in the area of Iron Deficiency and Cognitive Function.
